Children

Our children’s ministry focuses on teaching how to follow Jesus Christ in every area of life-even at a young age.

Children’s Church
We have exciting games, fun worship time, and Bible lessons geared toward the issues that children face every day.
Children’s Church meets every Sunday morning at 11:00 in the gymnasium.

We spend the first half of our meeting singing Bible songs, playing games, and eating snacks. The classes are split up into two groups (2-5 yr. olds, 1st-6th grade). The teacher of each class gives a Bible-based lesson with visual aids, skits, and most importantly the plan of salvation.

Bus Ministry
We picks up riders all over the Ozark area and brings them to church every Sunday morning. It was created to reach out to our community, especially to those who do not have transportation to church.
Our bus captain and bus helpers visit the riders every Saturday morning to remind regulars and invite new people to ride the bus on Sunday morning. We have many different promotions on the bus such as the following: Friend Sunday, Pizza Sunday, New Bible Sunday, Bus Parent Sunday, etc.

We pick up children from 8:20-9:30 a.m. and drop them off by 12:45 p.m. every Sunday.

A.W.A.N.A.
AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15). AWANA is a Bible-centered youth organization providing weekly clubs and programs for three-year-olds through sixth graders.
We use AWANA to reach children with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Our groups consist of “Cubbies” – three and four year olds, “Sparks” – Kindergarten – 2nd grades, and “Truth and Training” – 3rd-6th grades.

Each Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. we have game time, Bible memorization, and a Bible lesson. Each child has the opportunity to learn about the Lord and hide His Word in his hearts.

Youth

EYM exists to EXPOSE teens to the love of Christ, teach them to WALK in His ways, ENJOY the friendships of others, LEAD in serving and LOVE the Lord with our lives. Go to www.youth.ewellbaptist.org for more information.

College Age

Young Adults
We are excited about seeing young adults come to know the Lord and use their faith in the work place and at college to touch the lives of others.

We have many activities throughout the year geared towards fellowship, discipleship, and worship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The singles class meets every Sunday morning at 9:45 in our choir room and “The Bridge” every Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

Military
Our church is located ten miles from the Fort Rucker Army Base. Most soldiers in early training do not have means of transportation to church on Sunday.

We provide a ride to church every Sunday morning.
On Thursday afternoons, we go on base to hand out flyers inviting soldiers to our Sunday services. The van arrives on base at 0905 Sunday morning in front of the Battalion Headquarters.

After church, we provide a home-cooked meal for all the service men and women. It is a chance for us to thank them for serving our country and give them a opportunity to unwind. All soldiers are back on base in time for afternoon formation.

Adult

Ladies Missionary Circle
The Dollie Mallory Missionary Circle was started in the 1960’s when Dollie Mallory decided that the ladies of our church should begin doing things for missionary families.

Once a month, the ladies of the church meet to read letters from our missionaries. Also, the ladies pray for these missionaries by name, and send items to encourage them and money for special products.

The ladies have Wednesday night meals at the church, and cater banquets to raise money to help our missionaries. All the money raised is used to help people across the world tell others about Jesus Christ.

Men’s Fraternity
“Better Men = Better Families = a Better Church” is our purpose for Men’ s F raternity. We meet together on the first Monday of every month for a time of prayer, Bible study, and community with each other.

Pastor’s Sunday School
We seek to provide a place of encouragement, love, and accountability for our adults. Pastor David Lewis teaches rich truths from the Bible every Sunday morning at 9:45 in our adult Sunday school class.

Pastor Lewis teaches on Christian growth, the marriage relationship, and books of the Bible. A few titles are “Divorce-Proofing your Marriage”, “James, the Perfect Christian”, “the God of the Second Chance (Jonah),” and “Legalism, the Popular Substitute for Spiritual Living (Galatians).”

Breakfast is provided each week by the class. We invite you to come feed your body and soul in our adult ministry.

Senior

The seniors of our church are very important to us. We believe that God can use anyone to do great things at any age.
Our senior Sunday school class was taught for many years by our pastor emeritus Bro. G.L. Wynn, who has gone home to be with the Lord.

Mark Barker, the school principal, has taken over the teaching of the seniors Sunday school class.

Brother Mark teaches encouraging, helpful lessons on topics such as: “Why the King James Version of the Bible”, “The Book of Hebrews”, “The Book of Revelation”, and “The Book of Jonah.”
Many of our seniors are such a great picture of faithfulness to our Lord Jesus Christ.

This ministry is for those fifty years of age and older.
